Thanks for sharing Andy! This was pretty awesome and a first for Oman. I enjoyed it and honestly props to those guys for doing such a good job!

  My pleasure, Jado. You really should be thanking “Maria Ocean”. She shared it on twitter and I thought it was so good that I put it on the blog. It’s not exactly a first for Oman as there have been other flash mobs (.http://www.oman-collective-intelligence.com/2012/05/first-flash-mob-in-oman-behind-scenes.html) ..but I think this is the best one out there so far!

Yes, as someone said pretty good dancing, and close to a flash mob, but not a flash mob. Still very nice though.

  Hi, Maurizio! Yes, nice dancing! About the term “flash mob”, I think most people, if they were there, would say, “Hey, look! A flash mob!” I know I would. Webster’s New Millenium Dictionary of English defines the term as, “a group of people who organize on the Internet and then quickly assemble in a public place, do something bizarre, and disperse.” That all applies here except for the “organizing on the internet” part. You’d have to ask the people dancing in this vid if they did in fact do that!

I am Fernando from Latin Dance Muscat, the director and the choreographer of the Flashmob above, flattered to see all your comments.
And by the way, have read some of your blogs before, and pretty good stuff!
By the way, this video was uploaded by someone from the crowd, the official video will be out in couple of hours hopefully, will share the link with you once ready.
We performed this Flashmob for Pringles with Bulls Eye Communications.
